5 students receive the very top grade of 9 in maths
On Wednesday, 19th July 2017, a group of students were selected to take part in the Challenge 4 Change programme called ‘Teammates Not Inmates’. This was a unique opportunity to develop self-discipline, communication skills and resilience.
The last week of summer saw Year 9 take part in a highly motivational workshop focusing on developing the right skills to get ahead in the world of work. Lead by Michelle Whaite of the Transformation Trust, on behalf of Barclays, the workshop quickly engaged the students.
Friday, 14th July saw the culmination of Engineering Action Week at ARUP’s Manchester HQ at Piccadilly Place.

It has been a very successful week of sport at Manchester Academy!
Manchester Academy Year 10 students who have been participating in the MCFC Pathways Programme were rewarded for their hard work with a reward trip to Laser Quest in Knutsford.
