A Fantastic First Day for Our New Year 7 Students

Manchester Academy was delighted to welcome our new Year 7 students as they began their secondary school journey with us.

The excitement was clear to see from the moment students arrived. They were greeted by staff and student leaders who helped them settle into their new surroundings and begin what promises to be an exciting and successful chapter of their education.

Throughout the day, students took part in a range of activities designed to help them familiarise themselves with the school, meet new classmates and teachers, and build confidence in their new environment. They explored the academy, learnt about our expectations and values, and experienced their first lessons as Manchester Academy students.

Our new Year 7 cohort demonstrated excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and maturity. Staff were particularly impressed by the positive attitudes shown by students as they embraced new challenges, made new friendships and settled into academy life.

The first day of high school is an important milestone, and we are incredibly proud of how well our students adapted to this exciting transition. Their energy, curiosity and willingness to get involved reflected the values that make Manchester Academy such a special place to learn.

Mr Adeyemo, Community Engagement Officer, said: “It has been wonderful to see our new Year 7 students arrive with such enthusiasm and positivity. They have made an excellent start to their Manchester Academy journey, and we look forward to supporting them as they grow, learn and achieve over the coming years.”

We would also like to thank parents, carers and staff for their support in ensuring a smooth and successful start. By working together, we can help every student thrive and make the most of the opportunities available to them.

We look forward to seeing all that our newest students will achieve as they begin their journey at Manchester Academy.

Welcome to the Manchester Academy family, Year 7. Your future starts here!
