Please use the links below to read the Options Booklets and to complete the Options Forms.

 These documents explain each subject, how the MBacc and EBacc pathways work, and how students can choose the right courses for them.

Key Dates for Parents & Carers

Please make sure you are aware of the following dates. They will help you support your child through the Options process.

Options Forms Released – 12 February

The Options Forms will be available on the MS Teams Channel from this date.

Taster Week – 23–27 February

During Taster Week, students can try GCSE lessons they are interested in.
This helps them make informed choices before completing their form.
Ms Sandford will share more details with students on MS Teams and in assemblies.

Deadline to Submit Options Form – 2 March

All students must complete and submit their form by this date.

1:1 Guidance Meetings Begin – From 24 March

After forms are submitted, students will have one‑to‑one meetings with senior staff to discuss their choices and future plans.

How You Can Support Your Child

• Read the booklet together and talk through each subject.
• Ask your child which subjects they enjoy and which ones suit their future goals.
• Encourage them to attend all their Taster Week lessons.
• Make sure the form is completed on time.
