Cheerleading group learn good teamwork skills

Published on 27 February 2018

Our after school cheerleading club has been proving very popular with Year 8 girls.

They have been learning how to do stunts, jumps, tumbling and dance.

Ms Evans, who takes the class with Ms Titterington, said cheerleading promotes teamwork and cooperation, as well as creativity in dance.

“Cheerleading encourages students to work together and we're now preparing for a competition in the summer,” Miss Evans said.

The club is held every Friday from 3pm—4pm.
