A Warm Welcome to Future Students
Manchester Academy was thrilled to welcome Year 5 pupils from Webster, Claremont, Heald Place, and Rolls Crescent primary schools for a fun-filled Transition Day. The day gave young learners a chance to explore what secondary school life is like and meet our friendly staff.
The event kicked off with a warm greeting from our Academy team, followed by a special talk from our Principal, Mr Eldon, who introduced the school and explained how we Make Manchester Magic.
A Fun Day of Friendship and Learning
The pupils took part in a variety of activities designed to spark creativity and encourage teamwork. From colourful art projects to engaging maths challenges, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The activities helped the children make new friends, work together, and win fun prizes.
Positive Words from the Head of Year 7
Ms Maybury, Head of Year 7, praised the visiting pupils, saying:
“It was a wonderful day filled with excitement and new introductions. Their behaviour was outstanding, and it was nice to see the students’ confidence grow throughout the day.”
Looking Ahead
The Transition Day is an important part of helping young people feel confident and excited about starting secondary school. At Manchester Academy, we believe in giving every child the best possible start to their journey with us.
We can’t wait to see these smiling faces again in the future!
