Manchester Academy will make every effort to remain open whenever possible. The decision to close the Academy, either before or during the school day, will be made by the Principal.
If the Academy is to close, due to adverse weather conditions, a notification will be placed on our homepage and all families with a registered mobile phone number will be contacted by text messaging services. To register a mobile phone number please contact the school office.
The Academy will make all efforts to keep parents informed as to the situation with the Academy during adverse weather conditions. However, parents and carers are expected to check the website when it is clear that a closure is a possibility.
