¡Viva! Spanish & Latin American Festival

Published on 21 April 2017

Year 11 students studying GCSE Spanish visited the opening night of the Spanish and Latin Film Festival on Friday, 31st March.

The event took place at the new venue called Home, where foreign films and events take place.

The students enjoyed an evening of Spanish culture which involved watching salsa dancing, interacting with Spanish people during the 'fiesta' outside, and watching a short Spanish movie followed by a Spanish movie set in Valencia called Cien años de perdón.

The overall evening was fun and exciting. The Year 11 students learnt an extensive amount of words and phrases which will surely help them in their upcoming GCSE exams.
