Students at Manchester Academy are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results. We are thrilled to see the success of our students, with 44% of students studying single Sciences gaining the top grades of 9-7, 56% of Spanish students and 18% of Maths student achieving the highest grades. Our drive for Academic excellence is delivering more top grades for more students.
There were also a number of impressive individual successes, including:
- Ismahaan Jeylani- Scored an average grade of Grade 8+ and 100% of her grades were grade 9-7. Ismahaan scored 4 grade 9s and straight 9s in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Mohamed Karama- Scored an average of grade 8 and scored 70% grade 9-7. Scoring a double Grade 9 in Combined Science.
- Awab Alshami- Average grade 8+ and 88% of his grades were grade 7-9. Awab scored 5 grade 9s and straight 9s in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Taha Ahmed- Average grade 8+ and 88% of his grades were grade 7-9. Taha scored 5 grade 9s and straight 9s in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
