Rio Ferdinand's Shootout
Tweleve of out most talented footballers have been chosen to take part in ‘The Rio Ferdinand Shootout’ competition demonstration DVD. This competition is an idea thought up by Manchester United’s star footballer, Rio Ferdinand.
The DVD, will be sent out nationwide to demonstrate to boys in other schools a set of soccer skills that they too will need to master in order to qualify for the regional, then national stages of the competition.
Stages of the completion will be shown on prime-time television and a nationwide road show early in the New Year. The ultimate prize is for sixteen teenagers to join Rio’s ‘Live the Dream’ squad, to travel to South Africa in order to take part in an international football competition.
