Examinations and Results
"I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past."
[Patrick Henry]
In a 10 year period the highest achievement by Ducie High School for the number of students gaining 5 A* - C GCSE grades was 13%.
In just 6 years, Manchester Academy has achieved a record breaking 63% 5 A* – C GCSEs.
In August, the Academy was full of gleaming, proud faces as the GCSE students came to pick up their results. It was no wonder they were smiling, as they achieved the best GCSE results in the school’s history with 63% gaining 5 A* – C GCSEs.
In addition to this, a record 93% of students achieved 5 or more passes at grades A* – G, and a further astounding 97% achieved at least one pass at grades A* – G.
These figures illustrate the continued significant improvement in results. The chart and tables below show how students’ results have progressed since Manchester Academy opened. We are confident that this trend will continue over the coming years.
