Employability Assistant

This is a permanent term time only (+ 2 weeks) role.

Hours of work: 8am – 4pm (Monday to Friday) – 37.5 hours per week. Term time only + 2 weeks to be
agreed with the Director of Employability. Please note: that there may be occasions where the post holder is required to work overtime to attend planned events and activities outside of normal working hours

Department: Employability

Salary: £20,319 actual (Full time equivalent £22,500)

Reporting to: Director of Employability  

Main Purpose of Job: To assist and support the development of the employability and careers programmes. The post holder will support the planning, development and implementation of the statutory CEIAG and employability programmes and have a key role in organising the work placement programme. They will work closely with partner organisations and agencies. The post holder will be well organised and be able to work individually as well as part of a team on complex projects.

Closing date for applications: Monday, 29th September, 2014 at 10am.

Interviews will be held in the week commencing Monday, 6th October and candidates who have been shortlisted for interview will be advised before Friday, 3rd October, 2014.
