'Make It' with The Hyde Group Enterprising Challenge

Our students once again took part in the annual event of the premier challenge in the Make It with Take Off in Aerospace’s 2011/12 event cycle.

The challenge involved designing and making a rescue vehicle using team and organisational skills. Their behaviour was outstanding and the students exceeded my expectations throughout the day showing Manchester Academy in the best light possible.

The event was a collaboration between The Manufacturing Institute, the Hyde Group and the North West Aerospace Alliance [NWAA] and is part of a special series of aerospace themed Make It challenges which the NWAA are supporting to encourage young people to consider careers in aerospace.
