Beauty & The Beast Pantomime

On Tuesday morning, 06^th December 2011, Manchester Academy welcomed 280 pupils from our feeder primary schools alongside their teachers to attend this wonderful event.

The Year 5 and Year 6 pupils were welcomed into the academy by a group of our Year 7 students who assisted in escorting them to their seats in the hall; sold refreshments and answered any other questions the visiting guests may have had.

The pantomime was well received by the audience who laughed along throughout and then showed their appreciation at the end with a raucous standing ovation.

Many thanks to the pupils and teachers from Rolls Crescent, St Mary’s, St Philip’s and Wilbraham primary schools who were all in attendance.
