Students Research NHS Careers
Tuesday, 29th November, 2011
17 medically minded students cross-examined seven NHS workers on Tuesday 15th November for an article they are writing.
The students asked various NHS workers questions about their careers and how they got to where they are today.
The students are taking part in a programme to find out more about careers in the NHS and have been chosen after an excellent interview to take part in the programme.
Future events will involve talking to the NHS Cadets, and also a visit to the Nowgen Laboratory to carry out some DNA sampling.
The staff they interviewed were:
1. Luke Foster / Paul Wright, Trainee Clinical Scientists
2. Paul Loughnan, 5th year medical student
3. Michael McNamee, Education Development Practitioner
4. Michelle Worsley, Infection Control Specialise Nurse
5. Peter Pimblett, Staff Nurse (Renal)
6. Jeanette Aidrian Quality, Training & Development Manager, Department of Pharmacy
7. Michael Masterman, IT and Communications Lead, Undergraduate Medical Education Department
