Manchester Meets a Princess!

Manchester Academy is proud to be partnered with Mosaic. This year, our Year 8 students have been mentored by Entrepreneurs. There have been 6 sessions where students have worked with business people to look at life goals and consider their future career paths.

Some of our Year 9 students entered the Mosaic Enterprise Challenge.  They were brilliant and made £6.3 million profit.

Princess Badiya bint el Hassan of Jordan is chair of Mosaic and visited Manchester.

10 of our Mosaic students were invited to Manchester United to meet with Princess Badiya and business people from the North West.  

The students were given a guided tour of Manchester United and had the opportunity to sit in the players’ seats in the dugout. They also had their photographs taken in the changing rooms under the shirts of the first team.

After this came the serious bit. The students had a round table discussion with the princess and several prominent people from the world of business, law and medicine.

The students had a wonderful time.
