Make Your Mark With A Tenner

In May 2010, Destiny handed over a cheque for £771.05 to The Christie Hospital.  This is a local hospital that treats cancer patients from all over the North West.

The cheque was handed to Peter Mackereth, who leads the complimentary therapy team at the Rehab Unit at The Christie.  

Peter thanked the students and said he was delighted with the cheque which would go to help cancer patients with their treatments. 

Manchester Academy would also like to thank Matt Burke, the Executive Chef at Chancellors Hotel and Conference Centre who helped the students create their delicious handmade chocolates.
