Tutors' Voice
- Our day starts at 8.45 am when we meet for registration. We check everyone is fine and has everything they need for the day and ask how it is going. The atmosphere is informal and very friendly.
- Tutor time involves helping the students to decide on future careers and helping them write letters of application for jobs, writing up their C.V's etc.
- We have recently started a letter writing campaign for Amnesty International. Other tutor times have involved the students giving group presentations on a variety of subjects of their choice, such as rap music or Bollywood stars.
- These sessions were really enjoyable and the students gave positive criticism to each other. The sessions are carried out half termly to increase the students self esteem and build their confidence.
- To summarise; the sixth form has a supportive and very friendly
atmosphere and is a pleasant place to be.
