My name is Amira Ahmed and I am a student at Manchester Academy Year 12.  I chose Manchester Academy Sixth Form to study because Manchester Academy provides you with the opportunity to develop more independence, whiles studying in a focused academic environment.

I am studying GCSE English, Numeracy and BTEC Business.  I have met and made lots of new friends and have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of enrichment activities.  The facilities at Manchester Academy Sixth Form are excellent.

If you decide to study here, there are computers in the Sixth Form, and the private study room.  There are many staff who will encourage and help you.

The Sixth Form at Manchester Academy is new and fantastic because we have a brand new building. 

Our building is brilliant because it has so many different facilities, e.g. we have so many computers, and in fact we have them in every room.

We also have interactive whiteboard which really helps my learning.

The life in Manchester Academy Sixth Form is amazing.  This is my second and final year - I have had a good experience. My teachers are really helpful they explain the work really clearly.

They give us one hour after college to help the students if they need help with their coursework.  The form teachers are really nice and they take care of us.
