Parent / Carer

Moving on to college is an important step for your son / daughter. Manchester Academy makes every effort to ensure a smooth and successful progression from school to college and then on to university, further training or employment.
The expertise of highly qualified subject specialists encourages students to reach and achieve their academic best.
Students are carefully monitored throughout their course, meeting with their Year Director on a regular basis. Each Term a Review Day will be held giving Tutors and students the opportunity to meet and discuss progress made and agree targets for the future.
The Academy believes that regular contact between the College and parents / carers is important and, if your son / daughter chooses to come to Manchester Academy, you will receive regular newsletters, student reports, invitations to Parents' / Carers' Events and the opportunity to contribute your views to the Academy.
You can also contact the Sixth Form Office with any queries you have on 0161 232 1639 ext 2092.

There are numerous opportunities throughout the year for parents / carers and prospective students to get advice and information on courses and subjects available at Manchester Academy.
OPEN DAYS for Years 11 and 12 so that you can visit the Sixth Form, meet the staff and current students, and see for yourself the excellent facilities that can be enjoyed if your son / daughter is accepted onto a course.
