What does the school motto really mean?

During their time at Manchester Academy we will expect students to achieve their ambitions, and only this will be good enough if they hope to maximise their time at school.

We have HIGH EXPECTATIONS that students will:

1. Attain the highest standards in learning that they can.
2. Achieve the best attendance, behaviour and personal development that they can.
3. Take on responsibilities to become outstanding citizens.
4. Strive to achieve and Manchester Academy will strive to help support and encourage them.

There are NO EXCUSES for not trying.
