Specialism

Whilst Business and Enterprise will be the overall curriculum theme, it will initially be ICT, which will be the predominant vehicle for delivery. This will develop to include many other skill areas.

ICT is an integral part of all curriculum areas and as such is used as a tool for learning. All areas are equipped with interactive whiteboard technology and all students have access to machines to access curriculum and the world outside.

Partnership with commerce and industry is a growing priority for the Academy, giving students the opportunity to relate what they are learning in school to the skills that they will require post 16.
