Manchester Academy is delighted that Cobbetts has agreed to further develop and embed the 'Fit 4 Business' programme with us.

We have been working with Cobbetts for two years and our students have benefitted greatly from the partnership.

The work has included:-

• Interviewing a High Court Judge
• Sitting in on trials
• 'Speed dating' with the many departments at Cobbetts
• Work shadowing
• Mini placements giving formal presentations at Cobbetts

Our young people benefit by working alongside the professionals at this prestigious company. As well as lawyers, this has included librarians, IT experts, chefs and human resources staff.

They:-

• Develop generic skills
• Gain confidence
• Learn about the many career paths available in a large business.
