Irish Soda Bread [White]

• 1lb flour
• Level tsp bic. Soda
• ½ tsp cream tartar
• Pinch of salt
• Pinch sugar
• Nearly ¾ butter milk

Preparation

• Add dry ingredients together & add butter milk

• Not too wet

Irish Soda Bread [Brown]

• 1lb brown flour
• Tsp bic. Soda
• 2 table sp flora oil
• ½ tsp cream tartar
• 2 tsp brown sugar
• Beaten egg
• Butter milk
• Wheat germ or bakers brow

Preparation:

• Beat egg well

• Mix with butter milk & oil

• Then add all dry ingredients

• Finally, put in oven until golden brown on gas mark 4 for 40 minutes
