Pantomime Trip

Pantomime Trip

For many Sixth Form students at Manchester Academy, their first term in English education ended with a trip to that well-known British institution, the pantomime.

Thanks to Ms Walsh, Head of Sixth Form, who also made sure that the students got there and back safely.

Friday afternoon was spent not in the classroom but in the company of Cinderella.

The faces of students whose ignorance of what was involved was sometimes all too obvious were transformed; as the show progressed, into smiles and laughter.

It was plain for all to see that humour - especially broad humour really does travel well. Many even joined in the audience participation opportunity at the end. Did we enjoy it? You bet we did!
