Manchester Academy, the Valnalón Foundation in Asturias, Spain and Nynäshamns Gymnasium in Sweden have written a joint bid to send 20 staff to Sweden and Spain.

• The aim is to develop links as that our young people can make real links with schools and businesses in Sweden and Spain
  

In January the ULT Business and Enterprise Co-ordinators met to discuss international projects.

• We were lucky enough to have visitors from Valnalón Foundation in Asturias, Spain and Nynäshamns Gymnasium in Sweden

• Iván Diego Rodríguez talked about Enterprise in Asturias and told us about the EJE Project.

• Lena Lindgren talked about how schools work with businesses in Sweden.

The Gateway to Humanities Project will be run in conjunction with the University of Manchester.

We are launching an E4E project with Manchester City Council. 

• Students will learn about the career paths available in this sector and be offered placements within the council. 

A joint project with:

• St Marys C of E Primary School

• Manchester Academy

• Manchester Metropolitan University

• Centre for Urban Education

Young people will complete a portfolio, attend lectures and take part in Initial Teaching Training
