St Mary's ran an Enterprise Day with the help of our own Innovations Director Jane Delfino.

• They  made origami, sweets, cakes, bags, necklaces, bracelets, smoothies,  CDs, painted pots - with plants!

• In the afternoon they sold everything that they had made. 

• They also worked with students from Manchester Academy.

• Before the day, staff and students thought about: marketing, branding, costs and materials. 

• The Headteacher described our PE boys as "awesome"! 

• The products were advertised and the 'living' TV adverts were very interesting! 

• Our Hospitality and Catering students and origami experts were wonderful. 

• A press pack worked with a student from Salford University and interviewed staff, students and visitors. 

• At the end of the day they printed a newspaper. 

• The St Mary's students also worked with the Army, the Fire Service, a hairdresser and park wardens.

The day was a great success and enjoyed by all.
