Four Manchester Academy students won a competition run during National Enterprise Week to cook a winning meal.

The prize was a trip to Sweden!

• An an International School, this was a unique opportunity for Manchester Academy to continue to develop its links with our partner schools.

In April we hosted a visit from 4 teachers from Nynashamns Gymnasium in Sweden and the following week our own Swedish Chefs:

• Jamie Barker 
• Liam Doyle
• Kyle Walker  
• James Hamilton

Accompanied by teachers Steve Smith and Katie Roberts made the return visit.

Whilst the team were in Sweden they:-

• Helped prepare a Swedish meal

• Cooked a meal for 25 people

• Toured Stockholm

• Visited the Vasa Museum

• Watched the football in a Swedish home!

• Met and enjoyed the company of Swedish students!

The boys are now starting a business to fund a return trip to Sweden... and meet more students!
