• Another first for the Academy - a joint Armed Forces careers day for the Year 9s.

• Representatives from the Army, RAF, Navy and Marines arrived in school for a fun-packed day of exercises designed to challenge the students and improve necessary skills such as teamwork, communication and listening skills.

• The activities included an assault course, various motivational games, question and answer sessions and, as a treat, a Navy landing craft simulator!
