Futures Fair
Tuesday - 14th November 2006
- Year 9 students were invited to a "Futures Fair" to coincide with the launch of the "Which Way Now" options programme in conjunction with Connexions.

- All year 9 students had an opportunity to meet with representatives of various industries and also FE Colleges and Universities so they could begin to think about career paths and where their option choices might take them.

- The Futures Fair was a real success with various companies including Marriott Hotels, Bowmer & Kirkland and Bovis pledging their support to work with the Academy on future enterprise projects.

- The Academy has recently been awarded full International School status and as such has links with schools across the world.

- Adding an international flavour to National Enterprise Week, the Year 10s participated in a cookery competition.

- The successful team won a trip to our partner school in Sweden where they will benefit from the school's expertise in the fields of hospitality and catering.
