The Academy in the Community

As the newest place of learning in Moss Side and with its generous provision of ICT, Manchester Academy intends to fulfil a major role in the regeneration of the area by providing learning and training opportunities for parents / carers and other adults who live nearby.

By having delivered a state-of-the-art building with high quality resources and a Sixth Form, the United Learning Trust, in partnership with Manchester Science Park, has demonstrated a commitment to helping the community which the Academy serves.

Working in partnership with the two universities, the Science Park and the Local Authority is one way in which Manchester Academy will contribute (to the work underway) to making living and working in inner city Manchester better and better.
