Welcome to Manchester Academy

I am proud to introduce this brochure to you. Having been appointed as its first Principal when the Academy opened I know how hard students and staff have worked to achieve the improvements that have been made.

The opportunities provided by our new building are outstanding and this along with the quality of teaching, support and care of students makes the Academy a special place.

At the Academy we do not put limits on the expectations we have for students but neither do we expect them all to achieve in the same way or at the same time.

Manchester Academy students are seen as the individuals they are and this is what helps us to do what our sponsors the United Learning Trust and Manchester Science Park stands for by bringing out "The best in everyone".
