The reporting of a student's absence procedure is as follows:
- Parents are to report absent children by 8.30am to 0161 232 1639 where they will be directed by switchboard to Student Services and asked to leave a message on the answerphone.
- Any child still absent by 9.30am and where no contact has been received from parent/carer, will receive a phone call home from the attendance team.
- Alternatively, parents can email into firstname.lastname@example.org to report a child’s absence.
Reporting a student’s absence is also fully explained in the Attendance Policy as well as in the individual student planner that each student receives at the start of each half term.
