A workshop this week built on the work of Computing teacher, Mr Duckworth's mission to persuade girls to think seriously about a career in Computer Science and Engineering.
The Computing & ICT Department launched their Micro:Bit giveaway day on Wednesday, 6th July this week which coincided with Eid.
In June 2016, Manchester Academy teachers and pupils from STEM subject departments were invited to design and build a rocket-powered model car.
On Wednesday, 6th July, parents of our Year 7 pupils have been invited in to see us demonstrating BBC Microbits.

Year 10 students have started an exciting new GSCE Applied Business course and have selected two businesses to research. This is to help them understand how businesses run.
