On Tuesday, 17th November, Year 10 Geography students were visited by Richard from Dwelle project to talk about sustainable housing.
On Tuesday 10th of November Year 10 BTEC Art and GCSE Textiles students took part a Tale of Two Cities workshop.
On Tuesday, 3rd November, a group of eighteen Year 10 students visited the National Wildflower Centre in Liverpool to take part in the '...Tale of Two Cities' project.
Manchester Academy hosted an Engineering Week for all students (Monday 12th October – Friday, 16th October, 2015).
Manchester Academy celebrated their European Day of Languages on Friday, 2nd October. There were many activities taking place, and even some teachers dressed up!
Our Year 7 netball team has played their first 2 matches in the South Manchester Netball League this week.
On Monday, 8C1 students went on a reward trip to the Crocky Trail Chester to celebrate all their hard work this year.
Students at Manchester Academy achieved 4 Silver and 7 Bronze certificates in this year’s UKMT Junior Maths Challenge.
